Hamilton Park Montessori First Lego League RoboticsThe Middle School at Hamilton Park Montessori School is developed in accord with Montessori’s views on adolescents and learning.  From within the structure of a warm community, the students are supported and encouraged to reach out, intellectually, emotionally, and physically, to the wider world and also to reach deeper into themselves.

The curriculum includes a STEM component integrating science, technology, and mathematics, as well as a humanities strand that establishes links between history, current events, literature, critical reading and writing. The curriculum includes regular trips, often planned by the students, to do research and gather information.

Spanish is taught by the total immersion style in daily classes. Mathematics meets four days a week as well.

Art, music, physical education, and computer coding are a part of the students’ lives. Each student has an opportunity to work on the school roof-top garden using sustainable organic farming methods, as well as to participate in the creation of the school newspaper and yearbook.

Advisory and community meetings occur every day.  A serious priority is preparing our students for success in high school–emotionally, socially, and academically.  Student and parents are guided and supported throughout the High School admissions process.
