HPMS Welcomes Back Alumni Max Biezin, ’21
This May, HPMS welcomed back 2021 graduate Max Biezin. For two weeks, Max has been on our Upper Campus, helping out with the HPMS Middle School Program. We loved not only seeing him on campus, but also getting to catch up with him!
What have you been up to while you've been back at HPMS?
I have been working with the Middle School for the past two weeks and I have been an extra set of hands for when teachers are out and also need assistance. I have also given support and guidance, from the perspective of an alumni, to those who are asking about the high school experience/environment.
And, I almost forgot but I also coached the students in the students vs faculty basketball game which was really really fun!
We've heard that you were recently honored by your high school...
I received the Ad-Lumen Award from Newark Academy. The award is only given to four seniors each year and it is given to those who embody Newark Academy’s core values on a personal level and it is a great honor to have received this, being recognized by my peers and teachers it was truly something special.
Now that you're graduating, what's next?
I am attending Wake Forest University in the fall and I am planning on majoring in Communications!
